This was the second year in a row that the Sunshine Coast region's business community recognised the achievements and contribution that Global Living Furniture make to the retail sector.

 

 

The first recognition took place in 2006 when Global Living Furniture & Homewares were crowned as the overall winners of the Macro Business of the Year Award, as well as winners of the Emerging Business category for new businesses at the Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Business & Export Awards

 

In the same year, Julia Jones-Walker, co-founder and Group Buyer of Global Living Furniture, was also awarded the title of 2006 Corporate Business Woman of the Year in the Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network’s Awards.
